Of his extremely short career as an altar boy, Frédéric Malle only remembers the giggles of his friends and the scent of incense. From his lab in New York City, Bruno Jovanovic managed to overcome the technical difficulty that this specific scent entails in order to reproduce the dry warmth of the vapor and the damp coolness of the stone to create this church-like atmosphere.
