OUD, ROSE AND INCENSE


A deep amber fragrance with a high concentration of genuine natural oud, created by Carlos Benaïm for Frédéric Malle’s exclusive Desert Gems Collection. A composition inspired by the colours of dawn, when the night slowly loosens its grip and the world returns to life.

At the heart of the fragrance is a dark, still oud wood, wrapped in pink pepper, cedarwood, labdanum and incense. Running through the composition is also a generous wave of Turkish rose absolute, bringing both radiance and depth. The result is a scent with an almost meditative character, warm, reflective and at the same time distinctly present.

DAWN is a tribute to the first light. To the stillness before the day has truly begun. To the feeling that anything is still possible.
