Max Richter THE HINTERLAND OF THE SENSES

Alongside Max Richter 01, the latest perfume from Comme des Garçons Parfums, comes a special publication: The Hinterland of the Senses.
Across 96 pages, it offers an insight into how the fragrance was created, the ingredients it contains, and the ideas behind it. Composer Max Richter, who collaborated with Comme des Garçons Parfums on the scent, shares his thoughts on its creation, while his partner, artist Yulia Mahr, gives a glimpse into her work and the image featured on the packaging.
Max and Yulia also present a selection of books, records, artworks, and people that inspire their work. Photographer Romain Guittet captures their studio and small still lifes of elements within it.
There is also a special contribution from Christian Astuguevieille, Creative Director of Comme des Garçons Parfums.
