Founded in 1999 by Christian and Wenche Hughes

Moving back to Sweden after a long career as a freelance makeup artist in the UK and US, Wenche was frustrated by the lack of innovative products on the Swedish market.

“We made a list of my favorite brands, the brands we felt had the highest quality, and decided that if we could get these exact brands onboard – we would open a store” -Wenche

In February of 1999 the first COW*Parfymeri opened on Mäster Samuelsgatan in Stockholm.
