Rosa Nigra is the incarnation of the scented stones of Gothic architecture, .

It is mysteriously complex  and linked directly to Opus 1144, which has a nearly identical base of Cashmere Wood, Amber, Vanilla, Musks, Sandalwood.

Rosa Nigra opens like a sparkling fruity floral  with peach, Iris and absinth. It smells like roses even though the Rose is not included in the composition. Fresia and Cashmerewood provides a masculin, crisp green touch before it is enveloped by soft white musk, amber and vanilla.

This is a fascinating fragrance from beginning to end. Well balanced, mysterious, modern and elegant.
